Calibration fluid KCL
Bluelab pH probe KCl Storage Solution 25 is the perfect solution for maintaining your Bluelab pH probes and pens.
pH probes are sensitive glass instruments that age through use. To prevent the performance of the pH probes from deteriorating due to drought, the KCl storage solution has been developed for Bluelab pH products.
Submerge the probe tip into the storage solution after each use by filling the cap and storing the probe upside down. This way you increase the lifespan of your Bleulab product. In addition, the solution contains certain elements that can even increase the reaction time of your pH meter.
The KCI solution can also be used as a refill solution for some probes.
Ideal for use with the following Bluelab products:
- Bluelab pH Pen;
- Bluelab Soil pH Pen;
- Bluelab pH Probes;
- Bluelab Soil pH Probe.

Calibration fluid EC calibration 2.8 (Check! T)
CF Standard Calibration Fluid 2.8mS is an easy way to adjust the EC meter accurately. The water nutrient content EC describes the electrical conductivity of water and in this liquid, the standard EC value is 2.8 mS.
Put the end of the meter into the calibration fluid and wait for a moment to confirm the correct reading. Adjust the meter to display a value of EC 2.8. Use to Calibrate your EC/CF meter every week to ensure maximum accuracy.

Calibration and conductivity standard solutions… a must in every grower’s toolbox.
The Bluelab calibration and conductivity standard solutions are essential for use with all Bluelab
products for the calibration of pH and testing the cleanliness of the Bluelab Conductivity/Temperature probe.Bluelab solutions are manufactured specifically for Bluelab products and are referenced to high laboratory standards to ensure your Bluelab products last longer and maintain accuracy.
Bluelab’s EC/CF equipment does not need calibrating as they are all factory calibrated here at Bluelab. The CF 27.7 (2.77 EC) solution is used as a reference or checking solution to ensure you have adequately cleaned the EC/CF probe.
Contamination between solutions can easily occur, which will affect the validity of the calibration. Bluelab recommend that the solutions are de-cantered into a smaller vessel and the contents discarded when the calibration process has been completed.

- Calibration of all measuring equipment should be performed weekly to ensure accuracy with critical nutrient solution measurements.

The Bluelab EC or ppm Pen simply tells you that your plants have the right amount of nutrients in your solution and lets you know if adjustments are needed.
To feed plants well, we need to know what we’re feeding them. Start with a quality nutrient. Measuring the conductivity every day is the best way to avoid over-diluting or over-concentrating your nutrient solution. Completely change the reservoir solution every 7 days.
Top up the nutrient level between changes – so your plants always have the right amount of food. The Bluelab EC or ppm Pen also measures the temperature of the solution, as root health is vital to the success of a crop.
